Trim Levels of the 2023 BMW X7
XDrive40i
The 2023 BMW X7 base model of this vehicle receives a horsepower boost from its new 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine. This 375-hp engine will shift you from 0-60 miles per hour in an estimated 5.8 seconds. Standard features include all-wheel drive, 21-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, front and rear parking sensors, front collision and pedestrian detection systems, a rearview camera, a 14.9-inch touch-screen display, and a 10-speaker audio system.
M60i
Choose the M60i trim to upgrade to a 523-hp turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine. This will get you from 0-60 miles per hour in an estimated 4.5 seconds. It includes all the features included with the XDrive40i, plus 22-inch alloy wheels, Merino leather upholstery, parking assist software, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
Additional Packages
The 2023 BMW X7 features a range of additional packages which can be added to either trim. It’ll be cheaper to add most of these packages to the M60i because so many features are already standard.
Premium Package
This package includes the 16-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, gesture control, a rear electric sunshade, and soft-close automatic doors. The sound system can be exchanged for a more expensive 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system, if you prefer.
Executive Package
This package offers massaging front seats, a sky lounge LED roof, heated or cooled cupholders, glass controls, and electric sunshades on the rear windows. You can also choose from the two audio upgrades in the Premium package.
M Sport Professional Package
This package adds branded M Sport brakes, M Sport suspension, M Sport exhaust, and an illuminated kidney grille. It features an extended Shadowline trim for extra flashiness.
Dynamic Handling Package
The dynamic handling package adds integral active steering and active comfort drive. The former adjusts your steering assist based on the vehicle’s speed. The latter uses the vehicle’s sat-nav features to read the road ahead and adjust your speed.
Driving Assistance Professional Package
This package adds various safety features, including lane-keep assist, lane-change assist, emergency-stop assistance, and pedestrian detection.
Climate Comfort Package
With this package, you’ll get ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and five-zone climate control.
