The BMW 3 series has a comfortable, roomy interior that provides a quiet ride. The 340i provides a 3.0-liter, 385-horsepower at 6,500 rpm, DOHC 24-valve, turbocharged, inline-six engine with 369-pound-feet of torque at 1,800 rpm. The 330e plug-in hybrid includes a 2.0-liter, 288-horsepower, turbocharged engine together with an electric motor providing 310-pound-feet of torque. The engines are all paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The BMW Series-3 offers standard four-wheel drive with all-wheel drive as an option. It has front and rear multi-link struts and 13.7-inch vented disc brakes. Adaptive dampers and upgraded brakes are also optional.
